Conservatives@hilariouschaos.com•Six different ways that prove the wealthy pay a lot more than their ‘fair share’English
1·1 day agoAsking a Democrat who is “the rich” or what is their “fair share” is like asking a computer to calculate the full value of pi.
But I think this prevents articles like this from serving as proper “gotchas”. “Fair share” isn’t an objective value, so you can’t really prove or disprove whether or not “the rich” are paying it.

Conservatives@hilariouschaos.com•Ken Griffin vows to 'double down' on Miami move, says NYC 'doesn't welcome success'English
1·6 days agoFirst it was “let’s raise taxes on the rich, they won’t leave no matter what we do to them”. Then it was “noooooooo the rich aren’t leaving NYC at all”. Now it’s “okay so the rich are leaving, I guess, but that’s a good thing”.
Just give it up y’all

Conservatives@hilariouschaos.com•Hasan Piker is left's Nick Fuentes. Why do they embrace him? | OpinionEnglish
1·8 days agoI’m on the right, but was talking with my liberal friend a few weeks ago about how everything on your own side, including the extremism, will seem more normative than what’s on the other side. So I get where you’re coming from.
I think the way that Nick Fuentes and Hasan Piker are comparable are that they both would support a genocide of the Jews in Israel. I am not as familiar with Fuentes, but Piker has notably supported international terrorist organizations such as the Houthi Rebels and Hezbollah (including interviewing a Houthi Rebel on his stream once), and hinted at supporting or wishing for violence upon people on the right.
That’s all pretty extreme, as is antisemitism, racism, and Nazism. Hasan Piker is the most notable extremist on the left, so I’ll never fault anyone for comparing him to Nick Fuentes, the most notable extremist on the right, even if it’s not a perfect 1:1 comparison.
I should probably add, though, that Charlie Kirk was by no means an extremist. That “evil” label is quite unwarranted. I’m not even sure why you brought up his name in the same breath as Nick Fuentes and Hasan Piker.

The narrative I hear is less that they want taxes to be more like Europe, and more that they want our taxes to pay for all of our healthcare. Not quite the same thing.
