While right-wing radicals draw intense scrutiny, influential left-wing figures with extremist rhetoric are often normalized by Democrats and major media outlets.

I’ll take the bait.
I am pretty vocal about being critical of Hassan in some aspects, which leads to lots of dumb ass slap fights with the 3 tankstances,
But from the clips of him that are shoved down my throat by the Internet, I can only pick a handful I was truly like “wtf” about.
While EVERYTHING Nick says and Charlie said, are pretty much straight evil.
This is like asking “why is everyone afraid of cassowaries but there’s cute emu videos online?”
It’s because one WILL lead to your demise, while the other might just draw blood while broody.
I assume you mean Charlie Kirk. I found a few things of his WTF, but most were OK.
The problem with the internet is that many of these people are just being extreme to get dollars. Nick is 100% a vile troll but no idea what his real views are.
You know what? I was feeling some sorta argumentative way after the last pointless argument I had here. But you approached with respect, and I want to acknowledge that.
Charlie didn’t deserve what he got, even though I disagree with him on almost every thing.
Hope you have a good rest of your morning dude.
I will admit I don’t know everything Charlie said. I wasn’t overly aware of him until the shooting. Much of what he said was to get people talking and I agree with that. We can’t solve anything when we fall into tribal traps. There is much both sides can agree on if they would talk more. I think both sides are tired of the debt, tired of the cost of living, tired of our health care system, and many other things.
I’m on the right, but was talking with my liberal friend a few weeks ago about how everything on your own side, including the extremism, will seem more normative than what’s on the other side. So I get where you’re coming from.
I think the way that Nick Fuentes and Hasan Piker are comparable are that they both would support a genocide of the Jews in Israel. I am not as familiar with Fuentes, but Piker has notably supported international terrorist organizations such as the Houthi Rebels and Hezbollah (including interviewing a Houthi Rebel on his stream once), and hinted at supporting or wishing for violence upon people on the right.
That’s all pretty extreme, as is antisemitism, racism, and Nazism. Hasan Piker is the most notable extremist on the left, so I’ll never fault anyone for comparing him to Nick Fuentes, the most notable extremist on the right, even if it’s not a perfect 1:1 comparison.
I should probably add, though, that Charlie Kirk was by no means an extremist. That “evil” label is quite unwarranted. I’m not even sure why you brought up his name in the same breath as Nick Fuentes and Hasan Piker.
I brought his name because those are the only two right winged Internet talking heads I know.
