The high court said in a brief order that it will also allow Mr. Trump to fire Rebecca Kelly Slaughter from her position at the FTC while it considers the case. It will hear arguments in its December session, and its stay will remain in place until it issues a decision. Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented from the majority’s decision to allow Slaughter’s removal.

Those votes don’t affect the score on the original instance, though. Other federated instances will still be able to calculate a truer score in that scenario.

Admins should only be looking at who downvotes posts when there is some sort of history of vote-abuse happening. Somebody voicing their opinion with their votes is a perfectly valid use of the upvote/downvote system.

YouTube Premium family plan is worth it for me. Sure, I can set up a PiHole and block ads. But that’s only viable on networks I control; it won’t work if I’m out of the house unless I want to set up a separate tunnel through my home network at all times. And I also don’t have the time or inclination to set up and maintain a PiHole for each of my family members.
