Assuming you need to keep your account for work, here are the direct links:

    1. Go to this page and turn it off: https://www.linkedin.com/mypreferences/d/settings/data-for-ai-improvement
    2. Submit this form: https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/ask/TS-DPRO

    In addition:

    • check this page for other privacy settings: https://www.linkedin.com/mypreferences/d/categories/privacy
    • Delete unnecessary personal information:
      • Profile image > Manage > Posts and Activity

You can delete your LinkedIn account. This has the side benefit of improved mental health.

It always baffles me that people use it as an actual social network. Like, you were already fake as fuck on Facebook, what kind of psychopath do you have to be in order to be even faker than that?

I can’t imagine using it unless you’re actively looking for work, or you work in marketing for your company. Even then, its only relevant for certain fields, and useless for the rest

No one who has an active LinkedIn profile should ever be treated as a serious individual.

What is it? Why do I want it? How do I know what to choose on that page? What happens when I choose something?

It is a link to a matrix chat for a fediverse version of LinkedIn currently in development. I am guessing it is fairly early in development too.

Agreed. What a vague link to a vague community.
