Yes, I’m onboard, have been for many years since I recognized their plight, since I recognized LGBT rights are civil rights. I’m old, took me a minute.
I want all of you to ZOOM in on this pin. The upside-down flag is enough to start a fight around here. I bought 10 of those “defend equality” pins. They are on all my outdoor bags, hats and purses. Challenge me. I am actively looking for an argument.
I am armed, practiced, know the laws, fit and ready to fight. How about all y’all?
Here I am, looking like a total doofus. I was likely the only man in the hood able to dress and move in the NW Florida, record breaking snow. It was fun as hell!
Point being, I can fight if I have to, despite being old and short of breath. But fuck anyone who says I’m all talk or won’t die to defend civil liberties. My wife is a legal, brown, immigrant. I got a dog in this fucking fight.
I appreciate your support, but you’re in the comments section of an article about the persecution of trans people, complaining that people want to talk about the persecution of trans people. It seems like a reasonable thing for people to do here.
