The point is though that we all need to defend each group that is picked on. Each of these battles is our battle, no matter who we are. Only through solidarity putting ourselves on the line for the sake of others can fascism be resisted.
First they came for the immigrants, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a immigrant.
Then they came for the comedians, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a comedian.
Then they came for the transgender, and I did not speak out— Because I was not transgender.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
Nah, there’s plenty of marginalized groups in-between. Homosexuals, Muslims, the disabled…
the rest of the lgbtq+ and then its POC, and then minorities other than POCs. then its the bootlickers/collaborators eventually
