Good thing Blender’s Grease Pencil is a thing then. That it happens to be free and cross-platform is rather nice too. One less reason to not switch to Linux while you’re at it.
RIP Animate, formally Flash Pro. Was my tool of choice in the mid-2000s.

I note one of the recommendations from the article is still drumroll subscription based while the other one is a one time purchase.
I guess Adobe will be the tools of corposlop and the rest of us will have to find other stuff to use, luckily I started that process some time ago. It would be sweet if Red Giant and BorisFX ported their video FX to Linux tho.
