Dems vs republicans is the current situation as far as who is governing us and one is clearly worse. Like everything in life there making the best decision for today and work to change to a better tomorrow. One of the biggest issues I see today is the blatant hypocrisy of asymmetric accountability.

It’s not assymettic accountability, it’s full blown collaboration. Democrats are controlled opposition, they exist to give people the illusion of choice and calm then down in between sessions ratcheting society to the right.

To whatever level they were the same has been diverging since nixon and increasingly so. This all the same nonsense has lead us to this worse case scenario. I work to get rid of representatives that disapoint and support ones that do a pretty good job. I choose better over worse. If our electorate does this across the nation we can make progress. If we don’t have enough folks to throw out clearly worse things then we certainly don’t have enough for any larger movemnet.

I didnt say they were the same. I said they were working towards the same goal. I said that because it’s true.

I don’t even believe that to be true. The democrats are incredibly divided. I will say that overall corporate influences dominate and we have to get rid of members that won’t bring in regulation and taxes to corporations.
