Since this is apparently being forced upon us whether we like it or not, I feel like any crime investigation utilizing any AI whatsoever needs to provide a full and detailed timestamped log of every single query used with said AI to the courts for review, and said log should be publicly available in a conspicuous location (i.e. not buried in page 487 of some random unrelated bit of said hypothetical investigation, nor requiring an account or any identifiable information to access).
Financial crime does more damage to the country and might even be a driver for physical crime? Nah, let’s surveil those people hit hardest by the financial crimes of others.
