    It is the same percentage every time with these fucking polls. All magats agree with Trump and the rest of Americans doesn’t. This revelas nothing which wasn’t known before.

      I do think these polls are significant because if you look at any major US conflict as far back as we’ve had polls, the trend is generally massive support across party lines early on, which gradually dwindles as the bodies start piling up. Vietnam is remembered for the protests but it had a ton of support at the beginning. Bush hit about 90% approval while he was launching forever wars in the Middle East. Even as recently as Ukraine, in the early days, Republicans were generally supportive of sending aid.

      For a conflict to be this unpopular this early on is completely unprecedented in American history, at least afaik.
