We need to start scoffing and rolling our eyes every time we hear that. Just make fun of it, humiliate anyone who repeats it. It’s vitally important that the media do it, but they always just play along like it’s a viable argument.
Not really, especially on the elected level. The Dems spent the last 8+ years being polite to MAGA, hoping they’d come around, and they only got worse.
Now I am openly saying that MAGAs are one of the few groups for whom ferocious bullying is not only allowed, but strongly encouraged. Make fun of them, humiliate them, laugh at them, snort at them, fart on them, knock their books out of their hands, be really really mean to them until they cry, etc.
