Didn’t Trump pardon people not yet convicted on his way out the first time?

I don’t recall that happening, no. He didn’t even pardon a single J6’er until he got into office a second time. Only guy I can think of is Roger Stone, and he was already charged.

And even then, Ford preemptively pardoned Nixon.

A grand jury had already drafted up an indictment against him, so the charges were inevitable. I don’t think what Ford did was right either, but let’s not pretend that a president pardoning someone who was obviously guilty and was going to be charged and tried for a crime that everyone knew they had committed, and a president promising to pardon his entire staff for any crimes they have yet to be charged with are anywhere close to the same thing.

    You’re a bad troll.

You’re entitled to think that, I guess. Biden DID pardon himself and his family members for crimes that he was never charged with or convicted of, in anticipation of retribution from Trump. Sorry that my opinion on that disagrees with you somehow.

You’re the one that claimed Biden set the precedent of preemptive pardons, which is factually incorrect.

A lot of our current issues go back to Nixon actually. Fox News was specifically created in the aftermath so conservatives could control the media narrative. Should just scrap everything since then and start over.
