    I mean, here in Canada, shit is insane. The fact that it’s like $20 for a burger and fries at a drink at A&W is off the wall. Also now I really want A&W.

      Subway is probably my favourite. A veggie footlong is 10 CAD or so. Adding a nice desert, I manage to feed a couple people there for $25 with coupons.

      Lunch deals at certain hole-in-the-wall places are on a similar tier. Eating out can get twice or even four times as expensive as that if you’re not paying attention - which I know from dining with people who aren’t poor.
