I enjoyed the article about Mamdani where a bunch of people from the US are calling his plans “extremist” and “radical”, then compared to EU and all his policies are more “you aren’t doing this already?”

I don’t even live in New York, city or state, but I was more excited for his win than my own Mayor, purely out of hope that this might prove we don’t need a bunch of push-over dems trying to please all sides instead of pushing for the changes actually needed.

Just as everyone was mentioning previously. The negotiation to “Re-Open the government, then we promise we will help you with Medicare” is a stupid stupid idea.

The amount of promises broken is entirely too high to get anything more than Cash-Up-Front. I am sure a bunch of these politicians are familiar with that payment method.
