I like the performative glass-wearing. I’ve never seen her wear glasses before, but glasses make you look smarter, and she needs to look smarter right now, not angrier. So she has glasses on, but they’re pushed down her nose so she can still see over them. You might argue that she needs them for reading, but she could just get progressives and wear them normally.

Canada has plants of companies that make EVs. I don’t think any EV-specific parts are made in Canada, but a decline in American car manufacturing will have an impact on those plants. I don’t believe those negative impacts are nearly as big a deal as the tariffs and trade war with America are, and if they meet the safety standards we have here (which I’m sure they do), that’s also good. If one of the requirements was removing privacy-invading features to sell in Canada because China is scary, and it was passed as a law for all auto makers, I’d be even happier.
