What I mean, however, is that there is currently only comparatively mild repression in the US, but that will change, which the regime is obviously working on.

I would say that it should now be clear to everybody that neither the demand “ICE Out” nor a one-day strike is enough.

I would say that the demand must be that the criminal regime and all its backers be removed from office and held accountable for their actions - with the full penalty that applies to every citizen, that is. A nationwide general strike must continue until that happens.

If that does not happen, things will continue as they are: the situation for citizens will get worse and worse, the country will sink into unbridled corruption, the legal system will be further eroded and abused for organized crime - in short, the US will abandon its sham democracy altogether and rapidly develop into a kleptocracy like Russia.

I consider this inevitable if US citizens do not seize their opportunity and prevent it themselves - it is very obvious that politicians cannot be relied upon and the legal system is also openly corrupt.

A peaceful solution through a general strike is still possible, but probably not for much longer.

We can only hope that the blatant incompetence of this administration has ensured that some of the originals remain intact, in case the published files actually contained relevant information. I am sure there is a lot of incriminating material, but for obvious reasons it will not be published. Therefore, the only hope is the incompetence of the administration - so the odds are not that bad.
