    I don’t see the US effecting any regime change in Iran without a conventional boots on the ground style war. The US public public probably don’t have any appetite for that and even if they did, it would be liable to end up with something arguably worse like Iraq, and with a very high death toll.

    I think Trump is mostly just threatening them for their oil like he did to Venezuela.

      Or you simply create a civil war that will last over a decade then a pro western armed group get into power. The usa if they succeed will be able to use the straight of Hurmuz against China and Russia and take advantages of the natural ressources of the country while israel will be able to create the greater Israel project
