Her time behind bars has since included meal service in her cell, unlimited toilet paper, puppy access, and access to private visitations in a chaplain’s office outside standard visiting hours.

Room service is wild, I will give them that, but toilet paper should not be monitored to save money nor withheld as punishment, I could go either way on puppy access, and as much privacy with a chaplain as possible seems like it should be a given.

It says “meal service”, no mention of whether she can pick what to eat. Both that and the off-hours visitations could be to protect her from other prisoners. Kid diddlers aren’t usually popular among other inmates, and she’s a pretty well known one.

And if she’s being isolated to protect her from other prisoners, the puppy access could be to allow her some socializing. Full isolation is pretty bad for you. Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik got three parakeets for the same reason (he wanted a dog or a pig, but that was deemed impractical).

She has said that the food is good, and the “staff” is “polite and responsive.”

She’s been sentenced to a resort.
