Elon Musk is joining his space exploration and artificial intelligence ventures into a single company before a massive planned initial public offering for the business later this year.
WHY would they keep AI from writing code used in their spaceships, if they’re 1/2-AI & 1/2-SpaceX??
So long as they were separate companies, then it made sense to presume that actual-engineers were writing the code.
Now, however, they’re NOT separate, & so therefore … it makes sense to presume that the software-infrastructure in the avionics … now is being vibecoded or just written without any vibes, by AI…
… which ought ground them.
DO NOT entrust avionics to either lunatics or AI’s.
That should then nuke SpaceX’s objective-value:

Musk already ran both companies. You don’t think there’s been direction from the top down to use AI to help write code for years now?
