Melania most definitely violated the terms of her first US visa and obtained her second visa questionably.
She was working in the US in the 1990s without a work visa, of that there is no doubt.
She then “self-sponsored” for a ‘EB-1’ visa, which are nicknamed ‘Einstein visas’ and “reserved for people of extraordinary ability, and sustained national or international acclaim”, which immigration experts have stated does not even remotely fit in with her résumé or status at the time.
