When people only get their news from these outlets - they adopt the same uselessness for democracy and destroy their neighborhoods and communities in the process.
This congressperson is doing their best against a tidal wave of racism and fascism to sound an alarm even louder - now that a year has passed and the republicans are alseep in their white-supremacy-dreamworld where immigrants “are to blame” for the ills of their “society” contenting themselves with knowing people will demean and punish them on their behalf for trying to make republicans feel guilty for what they did “in the interest of their society”.
The rule of law was crippled then failed, the oathes sworn to uphold it were forgotten and traded for spoils and plunder.
