To start off the development of my game, I decided to compile a list of best practices to do when starting to make games in general! Although these aren’t strict rules to follow, I feel like some of these are very useful for planning and organization. I know that some people may be apprehensive to jump straight into gamedev, so I hope this could give a good baseline for planning and preparation to anyone that wants to start making a game. Also, planning is super important for avoiding any future issues in development, so hopefully these tips can help with that too!
Note for the GitHub repo: Make sure the privacy setting is set to private (not public) if you don’t want everyone on earth to have access to your code. It should be private by default on the app but on the website it’s public by default, so make sure to check that!
