Can anyone find anything else this author has done? Between him only ever writing this piece for Jacobin, there being a sea of Joseph Gardners that don’t seem to be him, and him barely mentioning Paramount at all even though his arguments against them purchasing should be identical and mentioned at the beginning as a general anti-merger motif instead of an anti-Netflix motif I come across with the impression that this is not a genuine position, but one strategically crafted for purpose.
Don’t get me wrong, any merger of WB is gonna be bad, but better Netflix than Larry Ellison.
