That timeline is fucking shameful for Oneplus. This is a pretty massive reason not to buy or recommend their products.
Well, that and they are less open to bootloader unlocking now. My next phone will probably be a fairphone. I’m hoping it works where I live.
At the rate things are going in the duopoly when this pixel with GrapheneOS on dies I’ll just bow out of the smartphone market.
I suggest a Linux Phone, I feel we need to move that direction eventually. Must be better than a dumbphone right?
It would be great but we’ve been waiting on a Linux phone for a long time. Perhaps the GrapheneOS crew will find an ODM to manufacture a phone for them like they’ve been talking about.
