Depending on whether Trump is sufficiently compromised, this could be suicidal for Russia, or could drive a wedge between US and NATO. If Russia’s struggled this much fighting just Ukraine (backed by Western equipment), I would imagine a united NATO could practically walk into Moscow.

NATO could practically walk into Moscow without the United States. If NATO-Europe wanted to put boots in Moscow it would take less than two weeks. NATO-Europe could have a Conga line of F-35s flying over Moscow in a handful of hours if it wanted too. The traditional forces of NATO-Europe just completely outclass and overpower any traditional force that Russia could possibly muster.
The only way that Russia could stop an invasion by NATO-Europe is by going nuclear.
With that said it’s critically important to remember that NATO has absolutely no desire to take territory from Russia. It’s not just against the NATO ethos it’s also contrary to the mindset of European leaders. If that wasn’t enough Russia is a raging dumpster fire of collapsing demographics with an economy that will implode the instant the war is over. No Nation or group of Nations wants to make themselves responsible for trying to fix all of that.
Its just posturing. They cant even gain land in Ukraine and with all the refineries blown up they wont be able to fly, jets, feild tanks nor Lada’s, they will have to use donkeys or camels.
