Obviously the story is BS… But if they were smuggling drugs, why not just let the boat get to America and pick it up there? It’s not like they’re carrying plutonium or something.

I don’t know if you are trolling or not so I’ll answer realistically. The boat doesn’t come directly to the states shores and just hands out drugs. It’s a supply chain. It gets moved through Central America and the Caribbean being transported by mules. Eventually it makes its way in through different means like border crossing, hidden in airplanes, hidden in legit supply ships, etc.

The destruction of the boat in theory is to “nip it in the bud” so to speak. Destroy the product before it goes through everything else to get to the states.

Like Central American fishermen don’t have enough problems already…

I’m not trying to be funny, they’re just people trying to make a living and now they have to worry about some foreign criminal authoritarian having them murdered for no reason other than to pad out his racist bona fides.

My theory is that it’s lies. They want to intimidate Venezuela and try to take control of the oil.

Finally, those Caribbean savages will learn how it feels to be extorted. Just like how many good abiding south American citizens got extorted by the Caribbean criminals that Maduro sent to invade our countries.

I’m a bit worried how this could affect china’s behavior in the south chins sea. They might start blowing up Philippino boats claiming drugs and pointing out the US is doing the same in the Caribbean.
