I went to see how my rep voted (had a pretty good idea already) and incidentally found the actual text of the bill https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/119/hres719/text The front half of it is a load of fascists dick sucking, of course But that’s all in the "whereas"es which are not the meat of it. The main bits are a fairly level condemnation of political violence and assassinations. I was all set to fire of a testy email and donate (more, again) to the primary challenger… But then i read the statement on the resolution and why he voted for it.
