The Goodfellas star made the comment in response to co-host Jonathan Capehart asking him about his claim, a moment earlier on the show, that Trump will not leave the White House in 2028. Capehart said he was on the same “wavelength” as De Niro and agreed with him, before the actor compared Miller to Joseph Goebbels, the high-ranking Nazi leader and chief propagandist for Adolf Hitler.

“No way! We see it we see it we see it all the time — he will not want to leave. He set it up with, I guess he’s the Goebbels of the cabinet, Stephen Miller. He’s a Nazi,” De Niro said. “Yes, he is, and he should be ashamed of himself!”

I’ve always loved De Niro. His performance in Raging Bull completely blew me away when I first saw it. All of his contributions with Scorsese have been excellent though. I’m glad to know he’s got the right idea with politics, I hate seeing celebrities I like turn out to be MAGAts.

The one that disappointed me the most when I found out is Clint Eastwood: he’s quite the intolerant piece of shit Republican, and that predates Trump and even Dubya. I like his acting, but the man is despicable and has always been.

That’s too bad, I’ve always really liked him. The Dollars trilogy are some of the best westerns ever made, with The Good the Bad and the Ugly being in my top five movies of all time.
