When Mitchell Baker made way for Laura Chambers, the company’s policy also changed and the aim now is to make money with AI. In other words, today’s settings could disappear with tomorrow’s updates.
However, I understand the move, as open source is not promoted enough and financial resources go to closed source players.
Wonder if they also removed the local AI translation, which I find very useful, but it’s also another black box.
