Not just the one. The whole board. The woman laughed in the girl’s face when it happened too. There is something deeply wrong with this town.

I wish the wrongness stopped at the town, but it appears to be the entire country

Ervin claims his words were taken out of context and he was merely complimenting Campbell’s line of questioning.

Dude said ‘god you’re hot’ and then asked the student where she went to school. When she answered, he said ‘alright!’ in that ‘yes!’ type of voice that would accompany a victorious arm pump.

Is that the context that was missing, pig?

Also, super proud of her for literally standing up to him and the other adults in the room who should have protected her, didn’t, and still aren’t.

This student is remarkable - the courage in the face of what remains one of the biggest problems of our time: people who, due to their behavior, deserve no respect whatsoever, build up an institutional aura of intimidation in which they can wield their authority based on nothing more than their official positions.

If most people were like this, we would live in a much better world, because then people would judge authorities based on their behavior rather than bowing to their institutional power. That deserves respect, not these undeserving “dignitaries.”

“All council proceedings will be behind closed doors, with no cameras, no public, and minutes of the meetings to be approved by all members prior to release. All those in favor?”

    “AYE!”

    “Noted as passed unanimously”
