    Republican states can (and will) use this as an excuse to redraw their maps with 100% Republican representation.

          they really dont have a numbers advantage. both partys are just terrible. the difference is republicans do what their base wants. while democrats shit on their base constantly.

            Sure, but the logistical reason is that Dems do better in large states and Republicans do better in small states. It’s the small states that have the edge for republicans. Also, democratic states tend to be more heavily gerrymandered already, so. So not much gain in gerrymandering more.

              say it with me: ‘republicans have the edge in rural states because democrats ignore working class interests and do nothing to support them, republicans at least blame illegals for stealing muh job!’.

              the fact is the largest voting group are working class indepedents, and neither party appeals to them.
