    I mean, mailing anthrax is a biological weapon. That was the second biggest news story in September 2001. It doesn’t have to be a state sponsored pice of high tech ($), it could be as simple as catapulting plague ridden bodies into a 14th century castle to break the Seige of Kaffa…. Smallpox blankets in 1763, Rajneeshee Cult Attack in 1984, Ricin letters in 2004.

    Why are humans so surprised that LLM’s can instantly access the same information I can?

    Who fed the AI with the manuals for how to make and deploy biological weapons in the first place??

      College text books, and a tiny amount of inference would get you there. There’s an incredible amount of knowledge in text books that’s just not connected. But once you throw it all into a token smear, everything connects.
