Their numbers have tracked pretty well against other estimates, including Russia’s own data. Obviously there is a margin of error and some spin. But it’s likely ballpark correct. And even if it were half that many that’s a crazy amount of casualties for an unnecessary war just for the ego of some old asshole. Especially in a country with an under performing youth demographic already.
