Oh, so if that’s the case, then no worries, right? Nothing to be mad about.

There was a loud minority of SJWs who tried to cancel her once they found out she leaned conservative. People started attacking her online, tweeting and posting stuff like “Well, in my household we’ll never watch anything she’s in again!” and “Welp, she’s over, bye Sidney!” It even started bleeding into interviews whenever she tried to promote a movie.

But in the end the cancel attempt flopped. Fifty people deciding not to buy something doesn’t actually do anything. She still gets work, and the jeans company is fine. It’s a perfect example of a loud minority thinking they could take down an actress just because they assumed she was conservative. Like most of these things, mainstream society just ignored them. Most people don’t give a fuck.

It was a fucking jeans commercial, and some vegan Karens thought they were going to change the world by getting pissed off about it. They somehow twisted it into her and the jeans company being part of the KKK or some shit. And nothing came of it. LMAO.

    I like her.

Even your beloved NPR wrote about it: “The ad campaign that launched a thousand critiques: Sydney Sweeney’s jeans” https://www.npr.org/2025/08/01/nx-s1-5487286/sydney-sweeney-american-eagle-explained-why-controversy-racist-eugenics-trump-bathwater-ad-klein-statement

There were plenty of people upset about it. That’s why there’s a news article about it now.

I summarized it for you. But feel free to use your google-fu and look up: “sydney sweeney conservative controversy,” and tell me what happens.

I agree that nobody should have been mad though. LMAO

Oh so you don’t love NPR? do you like them? And did you notice that they did a write-up on the controversies? Why do you think they would do that if there was no controversy to report on? You seemed to imply that you were skeptical of the entire thing. Is that accurate?

And what does this have to do with “imaginary friends”? Are you ok? You seem to maybe not understand what is going on in this thread. Did you read the article? You seem really confused about all of this.

I don’t listen to NPR. Not sure what imaginary liberal you’re arguing with, but again, it ain’t me.

I’m sure the tit girl really appreciates your worship I guess.

Look, I get why it’s hard for you to just admit you had no clue how many people were pissed off over some celebrity shilling jeans. Yeah, it’s a ridiculously petty thing to get worked up about. I think it’s dumb too.

But people were upset. You seemed to doubt that fact, so I dropped the receipts to prove it was actually a thing.

And what makes you think I’m some kind of worshipper? I didn’t write the article. I’ve never even seen one movie or show she’s been in. I just linked the piece. I didn’t pen the NPR one either, or any of the dozen others that covered it. Is that the part that’s confusing you?

Plenty of actual news outlets figured it was worth reporting, even if you personally don’t. Just because you weren’t aware of it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Hope that clears things up.

The news that exists to spoon feed you outrage spoon fed you outrage, so it’s obviously a big deal!

I’m cool tho, since I was never outraged. And I laugh all the people who get so easily outraged over news like this. LMAO
