7 days agoI agree. It’s been a very stressful year. And this past election shows, across the country, that people are angry with the gop. The gop failed spectacularly in VA, losing 10+ state delegate seats in a state that voted for a GOP governor in the last gubernatorial.
At least for a short while, there’s a lot of hope. And I’m hoping the protests in DC today help hammer home that the GOP is the real minority in this country.
Tim Kaine is from Virginia. And Virginia had a far more direct impact from the shutdowns as a lot of workers in Northern VA are government employees or contractors. I’m not surprised he was trying to work across the aisle. I’m surprised he thinks he can take GOP at their word.
