It sounds more like Republicans are prolonging the shutdown by putting forward another bill that still doesn’t address the one thing that Democrats have been insisting on.

I give Dems as much richly deserved shit as anyone, but this I will support all day. The shutdown hurts America, and the partisan lies on government sites are not confusing anyone.

Based on my Republican coworkers, I’m going to disagree with the last statement.

Some of them might actually believe their shit, but you can’t assume such people say what they believe. That’s the whole game.

Let me ask, are you basing this off of actually going out and talking to folks? Or are you basing this off of what you’ve heard exclusively from people on left leaning websites and you are just assuming that his supporters couldn’t possibly believe such stupid, blatant lies?

          Be careful of echo chambers.

I just looked at the websites. Have you?

Tell me who that would trick.

Dude, the scammers want to filter out smart people. The gullible ones are the target.

I worry that you think I’m okay with the situation - I assure you I’m not. But I am allowing myself a smidgen of hope that enough people will see this with clear eyes and remember it the next time they’ve got a ballot in front of them.

If you believe they will vote differently next time despite the history of evidence, then I’ve got a bridge to sell.

Then please inform them that the Republicans have the majority in the House 219 v 213, the Senate 53 v 47, and they have the White House. If the Republicans actually votes together they would be able to Open the Gov.

No! That’s a TERRIBLE Idea! They need to CAVE so our Lives get HURT EVEN MORE and then they can Campaign on THAT instead of Campaigning on how they Held Out until they Saved our Healthcare!
